ifantasyrace.com Chase Challenge Rules
The ifantasyrace.com Chase Challenge is an exciting NASCAR bracket based playoff game. This fantasy game is rather straight forward and if you played in an NCAA basketball bracket game before then you’re already up to speed with the basics of how this game will work. That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t read the RULES though. If you have any questions about this game ask it in this post before you join the game.
Eligibility – This game is FREE for all ifantasyrace.com members who have an active 1 month, 2 month or Finish The Fight membership at the time they submit their bracket. At the end of the ifantasyrace.com Chase Challenge the winner MUST have an active membership of some form (Finish The Fight, Two Month, Monthly or 4 day Pass).
The prize for the contestant who scores the most points will be $100. In the case of a tie the prize will be split among the winners. The winner will be contacted after Homestead.
Deadline For Submitting Your Bracket – The deadline for submitting your bracket is when the green flag waves at Chicagoland which is the first race in the Chase. I will note there’s no need to wait until the last minute. After you submit your bracket I’ll contact you within 24 hours letting you know I received it. If you don’t receive an email within 24 hours use the MEMBERS Forum and tell me you haven’t received an email from me (NOTE: if you’re using a custom domain email such as example@chuckycheeseburgers.com the chance of not receiving an email back from me goes up because they bounce back sometimes).
Submitting Your Bracket – To submit your bracket use this FORM. Members may only SUBMIT ONE BRACKET and in the case more than one is submitted only the first bracket will be scored. After you submit your bracket its finalized (no contacting me for changes) unless I email you letting you know something is glaringly wrong or a field isn’t filled out.

Chase Challenge Scoring
The scoring for the game is rather straight forward as all bracket games are. I’m sure as you know the Chase is comprised of four segments. They are composed of the Challenger Round (first 3 races), Contender Round (next 3 races), Eliminator Round (next three races) and the Championship Round (Homestead).
In the Challenger Round which concludes at Dover you receive 1 point for each driver who you accurately predict moves onto the next round. There is a maximum of 12 points you can score in this round. (Pick 12 drivers who advance)
In the Contender Round which concludes at Talladega you receive 3 points for each driver who you accurately predict moves onto the next round. There is a maximum of 24 points you can score in this round. (Pick 8 drivers who advance)
In the Eliminator Round which concludes at Phoenix you receive 8 points for each driver who you accurately predict moves onto the final round. There is a maximum of 32 points you can score in this round. (Pick 4 drivers who advance)
In the Championship Round on the contact form you number where you think the drivers will finish 1-2-3-4 in the standings. If you correctly predict the champion in spot #1 you will score 16 points. If you correctly predict who will finish in 2nd you score 8 points. If you correctly predict who will finish in 3rd you score 4 points. If you correctly predict who will finish in 4th you score 2 points. I will stress in order to score points in this round the driver MUST FINISH in the FINAL POINT STANDINGS POSITION where you predict.
The location for scoring and other team’s brackets will be revealed following the Chicagoland race.

The last rule I would like to mention is that ifantasyrace.com reserves the right to change rules at anytime. The only circumstance this will be used is if NASCAR changes the rules which will affect the competitive nature of the game (example : putting 13 drivers into the Chase midweek like last year).
