Clint Bowyer – Early in practice his crew chief told him he had a top 3 car.

Jamie McMurray – Said this practice session is about getting a good feel for his car.

Aric Almirola – Said his Ford is better today but is still loose in the corners. During a later run he said his handling started better but he still got loose after a few laps.

Kurt Busch – “It’s a little tight in the center, a little loose getting in.”

Jeff Gordon – Started practice with a 15 lap run and was fast.
