Jimmie Johnson – Felt his splitter on the track early in practice. After his first run he said he had great grip and balance in the banking. Ran good lap times.

Matt Kenseth – Working to get his car more comfortable.

Jamie McMurray – Said he didn’t feel secure over the bumps. Later he had some sort of vibration and said he didn’t think it was tire related.

Kurt Busch – “Tight on entry, a little loose on exit. Entry is the bigger issue right now.”

Ryan Newman – Too loose on exit early.
