Kurt Busch – Was fast in practice #2 and continued to show good speed in this session.

Jimmie Johnson – During his opening run he was loose in landing and all the way through the center. His first run was 5 laps and he brought in his car because he didn’t think it would improve in traffic. 15 minutes into practice he said, “A bit loose in 3 and 4. Rolling real good through the center. No chatter.” With 20 minutes left he said, “I don’t know if I’m fast or slow, but it drives better,”

Austin Dillon – “Tight under braking in turns 1&2”

Clint Bowyer – “Pace is looking pretty good there, bud.” His crew chief liked his lap times.
