Kurt Busch – Had one of the fastest cars 10 laps into a run. During his second run in practice he also had good speed.

Brian Vickers – Started practice with a 15 lap run and had good speed. During his second run his car was tight in the center.

Ryan Newman – Loose entering turn 1. 20 minutes into practice he said his balance is good but he needs a little more speed.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. – Happy with his car following his first run. At the end of practice he was still pleased with his car. At the end his crew chief said, “That was a good practice.”

Paul Menard – Reported that his car is better today than it was yesterday. Half-way through practice he said some adjustments made his car chatter. Later in practice with 15 minutes remaining he was happy with his car.
