Fantasy Racing PROS Rankings – Daytona

PROS is an acronym for Projected Ranking Of Strength. What’s projected in this post is how good drivers were the last time they raced at Daytona (July 2014). In fantasy racing you can’t just look at a drivers finish position and believe that’s how good they were. Things happen in races and the PROS Rankings take unfortunate circumstances into account. Our Scouting Report from July 2014’s race will help you understand these rankings.

Last July at Daytona there was a wreck on lap #21 which took out many of the contenders at the front of the pack (Stewart, Gordon, Kenseth, Harvick, Edwards, Keselowski, Stenhouse, Ambrose and Bayne). Since it was so early and less than 20 laps were completed under green these PROS Rankings will reflect lap #22 to the rain shortened finish.

NOTE: These aren’t ifantasyrace.com’s fantasy NASCAR rankings for the Daytona 500. This post shows you who subjectively had the best car in the most recent Daytona race.
