Bristol Early Week Pre-Practice Top 20 Fantasy Projections – Food City 500

Technically we’ll have our second short track race of the season this weekend with the Food City 500, but since Martinsville and Bristol are such different tracks there’s not a lot that we know about teams and their short track packages right now. Bristol always allows for opportunities to take some sleepers, so keep that in mind when making your picks this weekend. It’s worth noting that no driver has an average finish better than 10.5 at this track over the last two years. What does that mean? The days of being dominant at Bristol seem to be over.

Personally I think if Ragan can avoid trouble he might really be able to surprise us like he did at Martinsville (not saying he’ll finish that well though). He’ll have a good car and when you combine that with his ability to avoid trouble good things can happen for him.
