How I play fantasy NASCAR at DraftKings

Playing fantasy NASCAR at DraftKings is great experience. Every week I typically play in between 2 and 4 contests. That seems to be the sweet spot for me.

At DraftKings players can play in many different types of fantasy leagues. My preferred league by far is 50/50 leagues. In those leagues you just have to finish in the top 50% percent and you win cash. When I enter those leagues I go in with the mindset a quarter of the people don’t know what their doing so you only have to beat a few people. The types of teams I make for them are “solid”. I don’t take many risks and my theory of just putting a solid team on the table has worked great. At one point I had a 24 contest winning  streak in that type of league so I think it’s safe to say it works pretty well.

Sometimes I also enter guaranteed prize pool leagues but the last time I did that was at Daytona. Those leagues are a lot tougher to win cash because there’s “investor players” who have multiple teams with lots of combinations of drivers. Those leagues have a relatively cheap entrance price with a large prize.
