Ricky Stenhouse Jr. – Focused on qualifying trim the entire session. Almost wrecked in the first 10 minutes of practice. Stenhouse Jr. liked his car balance wise. After another run he reported that he was loose in the rear.
Kevin Harvick – Sat out the first 15 minutes of practice due to inspection issues at New Hampshire. Was in qualifying trim the entire session. Ended practice with the fastest lap.
Dale Earnhardt Jr. – Was in qualifying trim the entire sesssion. “Very easy to drive. Just a little on the snug side.” After his second run in qualifying trim he said, “I lose a lot of rear grip through the center.” During a later run he said his car felt pretty good.
