Charlotte OALTAre you wondering who was TRULY fast in practice? I’m pretty certain our Charlotte Bank Of America 500 Happy Hour Enhanced Practice Speeds will be able to show you who was good. The lap times of the drivers who I view as the most notable are listed below. This post should give you a good idea of how well drivers were able to maintain speed over long runs which will be key on Saturday night.

If you see gapes in lap times it’s because 1) the lap time was obviously skewed from drivers entering or exiting pit road (warm up lap) or 2) I missed it.

O.A.L.T stands for Observed Average Lap Time. Also below I attached an excel spread sheet of driver speeds so if you would like to look into things further you can (Make Charts)
