NOTE: Practice isn’t overly important at Talladega and Happy Hour was mostly comprised of single file runs with drivers in qualifying trim.

Kurt Busch – At the beginning of practice he drafted with Danica Patrick and Kasey Kahne. Late in practice his team was concerned about a mysterious water puddle near his car, it turned out to be from a water bottle.

Aric Almirola – Focused on qualifying trim.

Joey Logano – Started practice with a single car run. Focused on qualifying trim exclusively.

Kasey Kahne – At the beginning of practice he drafted with Kurt Busch and Danica Patrick. After that short run he went to qualifying trim.

Danica Patrick – At the beginning of practice she drafted with Kurt Busch and Kasey Kahne.

Sam Hornish Jr. – Didn’t practice in Happy Hour.

Brad Keselowski – 10 minutes into practice he was in a draft with Ryan Blaney and Tony Stewart.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. – Practiced by himself for the majority of the time but he did practice some in the draft.

Ryan Newman – Didn’t participate in this session. He said he’ll do whatever he has to do in the race.

Jimmie Johnson – Practiced by himself again. Chad Knaus said he had a good practice session.

Martin Truex Jr. – Didn’t participate in practice. He claimed he had a strategy for the race.

Cole Whitt – Said his car ran a little hot.

Trevor Bayne – Just did single file runs. [/restrict]
