Jeff Gordon – His car looked very strong rotating in the center of the corners. Practiced coming down pit road at the end.

Kurt Busch – Said being loose was his biggest issue. Did a 30 lap run near the end of the session. Said his team found a lot of front grip.

Justin Allgaier – During his first run he said he needs help getting off the corners. Following his second run he said changes helped in the center. After a later run he said he was spinning the tires on exit.

Ryan Newman – During an early run he said his car started off “right” but then it loosened up.
