NASCAR Charter’s Are Now Implemented

Today it was announced that NASCAR’s charter system will be implemented in 2016. The main elements of the Charter system are that 36 teams will be locked in racing every week and the field will be shortened to 40 cars. Teams that competed in every race over the last 3 years will be granted Charters.
The #19 and #41 cars are set to purchase the Charters of MWR cars that are now defunct.
