NOTE: Much of this session for many teams was spent scuffing tires.

Kevin Harvick – During his first run he said he was “Too loose.” During a later run he said turns 1 and 2 are OK, exit of 4 is OK and turn 3 is bad. He was third on the speed chart at the time.

Paul Menard – At the end of practice he said, “We’ve definitely got something to work with.”

Brad Keselowski – Got his right rear into the wall during the opening minute of practice. Didn’t get any real notable damage.

Jimmie Johnson – “Track is bumpier than I expected. Straights are rough, corners aren’t too bad.” Had good speed.

Danica Patrick – Said her car was super uncomfortable.
