NOTE: Practice was only about 25 minutes long before rain ended the session.

Jimmie Johnson – Got into the wall right at the end of practice. Got significant damage and will be going to a backup car (picture). He was running high on the track and said it was “dirty.”

Kevin Harvick – Had very good speeding over his opening long run. Ran 22 laps which ranked as the most for the session.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. – It’s reported he couldn’t drive his car as aggressively as he wanted.

Aric Almirola – Early in practice he reported he was loose into the corners but had good turn in the middle.
