NOTE: This was an abbreviated, unplanned session.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. –  Wasn’t happy with his car early. “The car bounces real bad down the front straightaway.” “Just wrecking into the corner. How can we be this F’ed up.” During a later run his car improved and he showed more speed.

Jimmie Johnson – Got out on the track and practiced in his backup car. Said there were no real issues with his backup car.

Kyle Busch – Got extremely loose and nearly wrecked early in the session. Had the fastest car early in the session. His car was snappy loose.

AJ Allmendinger – Said he’s tight on landing and tight off the corner. Towards the end he said, “If I try to roll too much, it shakes the rear.” His team was worried about their long run speed. Happy with their short run speed.
