Bristol NASCAR Happy Hour Practice Notes

Ryan Newman – Was tight in the center which caused him to be loose off the corner. The longer he ran the freerer he got. Went to qualifying trim with about 30 minutes to go.

Ryan Blaney – Said his car was pretty good in both practice sessions.

Jimmie Johnson – About 50 minutes into practice he said, “It is really, really loose and difficult to drive.” Late in practice he noted improvement in the handling of his car. Still was working to find speed. Really wasn’t all that happy with his car.

Josh Wise – Pounded the wall hard. Had a tire go down. Will be going to a backup car.

AJ Allmendinger – Said it feels like he’s driving on ice.
