Chase Elliott – Fast in race trim. Said the track is similar to what it was in June.

Alex Bowman – Driving the #88 this weekend. Started practice in race trim. Appeared to have decent speed. He was loose around the track.

Sam Hornish Jr. – Practicing the #95 today and tomorrow for Michael McDowell. McDowell is preparing his car for the Xfinity Series road course race. Hornish said the car was extremely free.

Carl Edwards – Spent the entire session in qualifying trim.

Kyle Larson – Started in race trim and appeared to have very good long run speed over his opening run.
