Kansas 2 Early Week Pre-Practice Top 20 Fantasy Projections
After that crazy race at Charlotte last weekend, the Sprint Cup Series is back at another 1.5-mile race track this week: Kansas Speedway. This weekend’s Hollywood Casino 400 is a little shorter than the event last week, and should be a little less uneventful as well–although that’s what I thought was going to happen at Charlotte. As far as Kansas Speedway goes, the track was repaved back in 2012 and since then there has been a bunch of grip and multiple racing grooves. This means that qualifying hasn’t been super important here because the fastest cars should be able to make their way through the field during the race, with or without strategic moves. We last raced here back in May, and although Kyle Busch went to victory lane, Martin Truex, Jr. had the best car that night.
