Phoenix NASCAR Practice #2 Notes

Jimmie Johnson – His car looked strong and he had good speed. It sounds like his team will “race” this week, and not take the weekend lightly.

Denny Hamlin – Said his car was out of control during his first run. Had pretty good speed.

Martin Truex Jr. – Practiced in his backup car. His car was running hot because something was blocking his duct work. Had a gauge issue. His team will likely change their engine.
