Bristol NASCAR Happy Hour Practice Notes

Chris Buescher – Got into the wall and damaged his right rear in the opening minutes of practice. He will be going to a backup car and will start in the rear of the field. He will be scored from the 27th place starting position in leagues such as DraftKings and RaceDayScore.
Kyle Larson – His car was repaired and the damage in practice #2 was cosmetic. Practiced running near the top of the track again. Made a 59 lap run. Said his car was really good and consistent. Said the track is finally starting to get fun.
Ricky Stenhouse Jr. – When he got back out on the track in his repaired car he said he was loose and had no grip. Darrell Walttrip thought his car looked out of control. With 11 minutes remaining he said his car was inconsistent.

Chase Elliott – Following his second run he said, “good job fellas, huge difference.” Has a pretty good car this session. Said he gets freerer as he runs but his car needs to stay that way since the track gets tighter and tighter as the race goes.
Daniel Suarez – His car looked racy. Early in practice he was at the top of the speed charts. Said his car is closer and has more speed. Wants to be better on long runs.

Good morning, Ryan. Just wondering where you find the 20 and 30 lap averages? Thanks.

Hi TJ, NASCAR doesn’t provide 20 lap and 30 lap averages. The only way I get that info is when they show it or talk about it on TV. I wish they would provide it but right now all the info they give out is overall speeds and 10 lap averages.

That is what I assumed since I couldn’t find the info anywhere online. Thanks for the reply.
