Michigan NASCAR Practice #2 Notes

NOTE: Practice was only about 15 minutes long.

Chase Elliott – Said his car is much better than yesterday. Using the #88 teams setup. Said the corners are more put together. Ended the session 11th.

Daniel Suarez – This week he’s driving an upgraded JGR chassis with all the bells and whistles that his team has learned over the season. Didn’t practice this session because of an inspection penalty from last week.

Denny Hamlin – “It’s still a little bit too edgy for me, mainly on exit. Just don’t have the 100% security I did yesterday.” Ended the session 9th.

Chris Buescher – About 10 minutes into practice while he was 14th he said he has really good turn through turns 3 & 4.

Matt DiBenedetto – Ended the session 26th. “Entry was a little too free, but it definitely cut better and made the corner more consistent.”
