William Byron will drive a backup car at Daytona
In Happy Hour, William Byron had contact with Brad Keselowski and damaged his car. His team is now electing to go to a backup car. He’ll now start in the rear of the field and will be scored from his qualifying position.
Byron’s team has opted for a backup. Here they are pushing it to check it in tech. He will drop to the rear on the pace laps for going to a backup car. #nascar @NASCARONFOX pic.twitter.com/goIlCKpKgM
