Indianapolis Early Week Top 20 Fantasy Projections
The regular season comes to an end this weekend with the Big Machine Vodka 400 at The Brickyard. Indianapolis Motor Speedway is one of those tracks that we only visit once a year, and it’s also one of the most unique on the schedule, as there are four separate turns around this 2.5-mile behemoth. Looking back at last year, we had plenty of contenders in the Brickyard 400, as there were five drivers–Clint Bowyer, Denny Hamlin, Kyle Busch, Kevin Harvick, and Kurt Busch–who each led 19+ laps. In the end, though, it was Brad Keselowski who ended up in victory lane for his first Indy win. If you’re looking for a comparable track, Pocono is your best bet, and Joe Gibbs Racing dominated the two races there this season, with Kyle Busch winning in June and Denny Hamlin winning in July. The Gibbs Toyotas also swept the top 3 in that second race.
