On lap 19, Kurt Busch passed Brad Keselowski for the lead and he then proceeded to lead the next 50 laps.

Brad Keselowski’s car was said to be good on short runs, but not as good over long runs on lap 44 while he was running in the top five.

Ryan Blaney was said to be struggling with a loose car while running in 16th on lap 63.
Notable Moment: On lap 68, Garrett Smithley spun and brought out a caution. He was already a lap down running in the 30’s at the time.
William Byron had a really slow pit stop during the Smithley caution which dropped him from 2nd to 9th.
On lap 70, Chase Ellitot briefly got the lead and he then led the next 9 laps.

Notable Moment: On lap 141, Daniel Suarez had contact with Ryan Newman and it sent Newman spinning which brought out a caution. Neither driver sustained any notable damage. It dropped Newman a lap down.
Kyle Larson had a slow pit stop while leading during the Newman caution and it dropped him out of the top ten.

Notable Moment: On lap 158, Corey LaJoie got into the wall hard. He had a tire go down. Ryan Newman got the free pass at this time.
Notable Moment: On lap 172, Joey Logano had a flat tire and was slow on the track as he came to pit road. Prior to his problem he was running in the top ten. No caution came out and it dropped him a lap down.
Notable Moment: Around lap 175, Martin Truex Jr. made an unexpected pit stop for a loose wheel. Truex was running near the top five prior to pitting. This dropped Truex a lap down.

Big Moment: On lap 275 a multi-car wreck ensued. Drivers involved were the 11,24,48,8,34 and 1. Prior to the crash Hamlin, Byron, Johnson and Kurt Busch were all running well in the top ten. On pit road during this caution, Denny Hamlin was spun and got a little more damage.
