Atlanta Post Qualifying Draw Fantasy NASCAR Predictions

The NASCAR Cup Series season continues on this weekend with the QuikTrip Folds of Honor 500 at Atlanta Motor Speedway. This track is a 1.5-mile venue, but it’s also the roughest and oldest on the schedule. That means tire management and wear control are going to be huge on Sunday. In addition to other 1.5-mile tracks, you should also specifically analyze the high wear tracks, which are Chicagoland, Darlington, Fontana, and Homestead. Random draw set the starting order for Sunday’s race and you can see the full starting lineup by clicking here.

Final Top 25 Fantasy NASCAR Rankings for the QuikTrip Folds of Honor 500
1. Chase Elliott – Starts 1st – DraftKings Price: $9,900 – FanDuel Price: $12,300 – Slingshot Price: $11,700
You’d be hard pressed to find anyone who doesn’t think Chase Elliott is going to be a contender here at Atlanta on Sunday. This #9 Chevrolet has had the best green flag speed all season (click here for the Cheat Sheet), not to mention, Chase had a dominant car at Las Vegas earlier this year, should’ve won the Coca-Cola 600, and then won the second race at Charlotte–the only other 1.5-mile tracks we’ve raced at in 2020. Chase has made four career starts at Atlanta Motor Speedway and owns an average finish of 10.5 with a best result of 5th. He should lead plenty of laps on Sunday and compete for the win.
2. Kevin Harvick – Starts 9th – DraftKings Price: $11,700 – FanDuel Price: $14,000 – Slingshot Price: $12,800
Kevin Harvick and Rodney Childers simply have Atlanta Motor Speedway figured out. Harvick has won four of the last six Stages here and has also led over 1,000 laps over the last eight races. In five of the last six, he’s led over 100 in each individual race, although last year he had a “down” year–if you want to call it that–and only led 45. Harvick still finished 4th after starting 18th. Rolling off the grid from 9th, there’s no doubt that Kevin Harvick is going to find the lead at some point in the day on Sunday, it’s just a matter of when. There’s no such thing as a guaranteed fantasy pick but Harvick at Atlanta is pretty close.
3. Brad Keselowski – Starts 6th – DraftKings Price: $8,900 – FanDuel Price: $13,200 – Slingshot Price: $12,000
By no means is Brad Keselowski dominating races right now, but he’s got two wins already in this 2020 season and an average finish of 6.1 since Daytona, which is tied for the best in the series with Kevin Harvick. Now we come to Atlanta Motor Speedway where Keselowski has won two of the last three races and has finished 9th or better in the last five. Brad will roll off the grid from 6th here on Sunday, and while I don’t expect him to go out and lead 100+ laps, I think the #2 Ford will be there at the end. Kez is a master at managing his tires and that’s going to be huge on Sunday. I’d be surprised if he doesn’t finish top 5.
