Dover Saturday Fantasy NASCAR Predictions
As the NASCAR Cup Series regular season gets closer and closer to the end, we have a double-header at Dover International Speedway this weekend to knock out two of the three remaining races. Dover is a 1-mile oval that isn’t super comparable to any other track on the schedule. It’s basically a smaller intermediate track, so you can look at the speeds of all of the races on those this season.
This weekend, Goodyear is bringing the same left side tire that they brought to Fontana, both Darlington races, and Homestead, so if you see something like that referenced in this weekend’s article, know that that is where it is coming from. Chase Elliott will lead the field to the green on Saturday and you can click here for the full starting lineup for the first Dover race.

Final Top 25 Fantasy NASCAR Rankings for the Drydene 311 (Saturday)
1. Denny Hamlin – Starts 2nd – DraftKings Price: $10,200 – FanDuel Price: $13,000 – Slingshot Price: $12,400
At Dover International Speedway, Denny Hamlin has zero wins…so far. That could change this weekend. I just really like how consistent this #11 Toyota has been on speed lately; going back to Homestead, Denny has ranked 3rd or better in Green Flag Speed in eight of the ten races that I’ve tracked. Additionally, Hamlin has the best average finish (3.3) on the tracks that have used this same left side tire, and he ranks 2nd to only Chase Elliott when it comes to Green Flag Speed in those races. Denny has ended up 2nd or better in four of the last five Cup Series races, and the only exception during that span was his 6th-place finish at Michigan.
2. Chase Elliott – Starts 1st – DraftKings Price: $10,000 – FanDuel Price: $12,600 – Slingshot Price: $12,200
The #9 Chevrolet should be a forced to be reckoned with here at Dover on Sunday. For the second weekend in a row, Chase Elliott is one of the favorites to win the race, but I personally don’t have him as the favorite like I did at the Daytona Road Course. Still, starting from the pole at Dover definitely has its advantages, as does that #1 pit stall. As far as track history, Chase won here at “The Monster Mile” in 2018 and has six top 5 finishes in his eight career Cup Series starts here. The only major knock I have on him this weekend is how this #9 Chevrolet has “come back down to Earth” in terms of green flag speed over the last couple of months, but it is worth noting that he has the best average Green Flag Speed rank (4.5) at Fontana, Darlington, and Homestead this year, and has three finishes of 4th or better in those four races as well.
3. Kevin Harvick – Starts 10th – DraftKings Price: $11,400 – FanDuel Price: $14,000 – Slingshot Price: $13,000
Well, Kevin Harvick is human I guess. With his 17th-place finish at the Daytona Road Course last weekend, “The Closer” snapped his nine-race streak of top 5 finishes, but like I mentioned in my Slingshot picks article this week, don’t be surprised when he gets right back on that horse this weekend at Dover. Harvick last won here at “The Monster Mile” back in 2018 and has finished 6th or better in each of the last four races. He ranks 5th-fastest in Green Flag Speed when this left side tire has been used this season, and in terms of average finish in those four races, he’s at 9.8, which includes a win at Darlington. Over the last 12 races here at Dover, Harvick has had a driver rating of 100+ in 11 of them. He’s a very safe Fantasy NASCAR option on Saturday.
