Big: Around lap 40 or so (during a commercial break), Christopher Bell was shown to have made an unexpected pit stop which dropped him a lap down. Shortly before that he was running around the mid-teens.

Notable: On lap 173 it was mentioned that Ross Chastain got a restart violation for the start of the final Stage. He had to come down pit road. He finished 10th in Stage #2
Big: On lap 174, Anthony Alfredo pounded into the wall and brought out a caution.
During the Anthony Alfredo caution, Tyler Reddick and Kyle Larson stayed out on the track, and then many of the other front runners came to pit road.
Notable: During the Anthony Alfredo caution, Bubba Wallace was caught speeding on pit road and had to drop to the back.

Notable: Brad Keselowski pitted for rising engine temps around lap 215. He was in place to get the free pass before coming to pit road. The caution which came out a few laps later was not ideal for his afternoon.
Notable: On lap 218, Ryan Newman spun and brought out the caution.
Big: William Byron who was leading before the Ryan Newman caution, had to make a second pit stop for loose lug nuts. It dropped him back to 14th.
Big: Shortly after the restart for the Ryan Newman caution on lap 224, Ryan Blaney and Austin Dillon had contact. Blaney was in 8th and Austin Dillon was in 10th at the time of the restart. Blaney got a lot of damage and the #3 car only had minor damage. This marked the end of the race for Ryan Blaney.
