Group A Practice Notes

Kyle Larson – Kyle Larson was fast and had good speed over a run. Jeff Burton thought the #5 was perhaps the best in Group A. Larson was said to really like his car. Larson was said to be the barometer for who had a good car in Group A. Larson ended Group A with the best 15,20 and 25 lap averages.

Brad Keselowski – Brad Keselowski looked good in practice. The #6 had solid speed. When Group A ended, Keselowski had the 3rd best 15-lap average and the 2nd best 20-lap average.

William Byron – Six minutes into practice while he was 4th, Byron said, “Little free center exit.” During his second run in practice, Byron was happy with changes made. In Group A practice, Byron had the 2nd best 10-lap average and the 2nd best 15-lap average.

Harrison Burton – The #21 was said to look solid in practice. Burton had the 4th best 20-lap average in Group A.

Christopher Bell – The #20 unloaded with good speed and set the fast lap times early. Bell had the best 10-lap average in Group A.
