Joey Logano who started on the pole led the opening 27 laps.
On lap 1, Austin Dillon missed a chicane and had to come to a stop on the track as a penalty.
Big: On lap 3, NASCAR further penalized Austin Dillon and made him do a pass thru penalty since they felt he didn’t properly serve his penalty on the opening lap.
Notable: On lap 5, Bubba Wallace spun. He was in 9th place at the time. He also had to come to a stop on the track. It dropped him back to 16th.
