Asterisk Mark Report – Bristol (2023)

Erik Jones – Erik Jones was a top ten contender last year at Bristol but finished an asterisk mark 24th. In the race, Jones started 31st, finished about 14th in Stage #2, was in 10th on lap 315 but then shortly after that he made an unexpected pit stop for a loose wheel which led to his misleading result.

Joey Logano – Last year at Bristol, Joey Logano finished 34th and unfortunately, he was nearly that bad. In the race, Logano struggled and crashed which led to his poor finish. On lap 262, Corey LaJoie spun and then Logano who was way back in 27th crashed, which marked the end of his race.

Corey LaJoie – Corey LaJoie showed potential last year at Bristol but he finished an asterisk mark 25th. In the race, LaJoie used pit strategy, leading 48 laps and finishing 2nd in Stage #1, finished around 13th in Stage #2 but then early in the last Stage while running in 12th he spun and crashed which led to his misleading result (25th).
