Group A Driver NASCAR Practice Notes
Josh Berry – The #21 was fast and Berry had a lot of speed. Berry had the best 10 and 15-lap average in Group A. Berry was happy with his car and said it ran good.
Brad Keselowski – The #6 car had solid pace. In Group A, Keselowski had the 2nd best 10-lap average and the 3rd best 15-lap average. Keselowski reported that his car is a little free but otherwise pretty good. Keselowski was happy with his car during an interview.
Carson Hocevar – The #77 looked to have solid speed. Hocevar reported his car was too tight around the midpoint. In Group A, Hocevar had the 3rd best 15-lap average. During a second run following the Nemechek caution, Hocevar reached 20-lap average territory on another run.
Erik Jones – Erik Jones looked pretty good in practice but he didn’t make a run longer than +10 laps. His 10-lap average ranked as the 6th best.
Noah Gragson – Noah Gragson appeared to have solid pace among Group A drivers. He ranked 4th for 10-lap averages and the 5th for 15-lap averages.
