Bristol Group A NASCAR Driver Practice Notes

General Practice Note: Tire wear was pretty high in both Group practice sessions. It was mentioned to look higher than it did last spring in practice.

Ricky Stenhouse Jr. – Ricky Stenhouse Jr. unloaded fast and had good speed. In Group A, Stenhouse had the 3rd best 25-lap average. Stenhouse was happy with his car and said it felt good. He said it was the first time in a while he felt good in practice. Stenhouse really liked his car and said it handled well in an interview.

Kyle Larson – Kyle Larson had really good speed over a run. After running 30 laps, he came back to the garage for adjustments. In Group A, Larson had the best 10,15,20,25 and 30-lap averages.

Brad Keselowski – Keselowski was said to look really loose. Bowyer commented it looked ugly with how loose the #6 was. Keselowski never did a 10-lap run in practice.

Alex Bowman – Alex Bowman had good speed over a long run. In Group A, Bowman had the 2nd best 20,25 and 30-lap average. Bowman did a 40-lap run to start practice. Bowman said it will be a high tire-wear race in an interview.
