Christopher Bell who won the pole led 71 of the first 72 laps.

Big: On lap 1 back in the pack, Josh Berry and Ty Dillon spun. This marked the end of Berry’s race since he was towed to the garage area with his flat tires. Jimmie Johnson was also damaged at this time.

On lap 53 it was mentioned that Daniel Suarez lost 10 positions since the Kyle Larson caution restart.

On lap 55, Reddick who was in 7th reported to his team that he felt like he was lacking front straightaway speed.

Notable: On lap 144 while running in 20th, Daniel Hemric got into the wall, was slow and this brought out a caution.

During the Hemric caution, Zane Smith took two tires which got him the lead.

Big: On lap 148 shortly after the restart for the Hemric caution, Nemechek and Justin Haley got together. This accident happened back in the 20’s.

Big: On lap 157, Austin Cindric who was in 13th was spun and had some contact with the inside wall. Busch had contact with him.

Notable: During the Cindric caution, Joey Logano had to pit for a loose wheel which dropped him back into the 30’s. He was running around 10th prior to that.
