Texas Group 1 Driver Notes
Chris Buescher – Chris Buescher had good long run speed. In Group A, Buescher ranked #1 for 15 and 20-lap averages. Buescher said he needs more grip in turns 1-2 but he loves his car in turns 3-4.
Ryan Blaney – Ryan Blaney was fast and had good speed. In Group 1, Blaney had the best 10-lap average and the 3rd best 15-lap average.
Joey Logano – Early in practice, Joey Logano’s crew chief said his pace was good. In Group 1, Logano ranked 2nd for 15 and 20-lap averages. His 25-lap average was the best for the Group.
Brad Keselowski – Brad Keselowski had solid pace in practice across all the extended averages. His 20-lap average was the 3rd best in the Group.
Josh Berry – Josh Berry unloaded fast and showed good speed. Berry had the 2nd best 25-lap average in the Group. His 20-lap average ranked as the 5th best.
