William Byron – William Byron looked about 10th place good in last year’s North Wilkesboro All-Star race but his race wasn’t incident free and he finished an asterisk mark 19th. On lap 60, Byron was running in 11th but then not much longer after that he was on pit road with a broken toe link which dropped him several laps down, dooming him to his poor result. In terms of Total Speed Rankings, Byron ranked 12th.

Christopher Bell – Christopher Bell had a hot rod in last year’s All-Star Race and looked like a factor to win but he finished a misleading 17th. On lap 112 while battling for the lead, Bell had contact with both Logano and Hamlin and then after that he didn’t seem to be as competitive and faded late down the stretch. In the race, Bell had the 6th best Total Speed Ranking but take note his speed over the segments were 5th, 4th, 4th and then 18th.

Ricky Stenhouse Jr. – How good was Ricky Stenhouse Jr. in last year’s North Wilkesboro All-Star Race? Considering he only completed 2 laps, nobody knows! On lap 2, Kyle Busch wrecked him. So far over his two North Wilkesboro All-Star Races, Stenhouse is 2 for 2 at finishing last!
