In that race, Bell started 19th, led 8 laps, had a 6.7 average running position and had the 5th best Total Speed Ranking. To highlight his speed more, Bell had the fastest car on the track over the last quarter of the race. Since 2024 at road courses minus Chicago where he was one of the best but had problems late, Bell has a series best 5.6 average finish and the 2nd best Driver Rating (over that particular race stretch). In terms of Track Type Total Speed Rankings since 2024, Bell ranks 2nd.

Mexico City Outlook = Shane van Gisbergen already has one big road course debut win under his belt and at Mexico City where nobody has Cup track experience advantage on him, I think SVG has a great chance to add to his tally.
