Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez Viva Mexico 250 NASCAR Happy Hour Practice Notes
Ty Gibbs – Right near the start of practice, Ty Gibbs was shown to have a really wild moment and spun. He immediately went back to the garage for his team to check out his car. Gibbs later went out and posted the best 5-lap average of the session.
Noah Gragson – Noah Gragson crashed in practice #1 and will be racing a backup car this weekend. Gragson never logged a lap in Happy Hour. In practice #1, he only completed 2-laps.
Christopher Bell – Christopher Bell had good speed and posted the best 10-lap average late in practice. His 5-lap average was the 5th best.
Austin Cindric – Austin Cindric had good pace in Happy Hour practice, ranking 3rd for 5-lap averages, 4th for 10-lap averages and then 2nd for 15-lap averages.
Todd Gilliland – Gilliland’s car was said to be improved for this practice. Gilliland had the best overall speed. Gilliland was happy with his car and said he’s in the ball park. Gilliland never made a 5-lap run in this session.
