Joey Logano who started on the pole jumped to an early lead and led the first 16 laps.

Big: On lap 3 while running in 29th, Denny Hamlin‘s engine blew up which brought out the first caution and marked the end of his race.

Notable: John H Nemechek slid thru oil under the Hamlin caution and hit a wall. He was deep in the field in the 30’s.

Notable: On lap 9, Chastain was shown to be having an off-course moment which dropped him back a few positions. He was in 8th prior to it and it dropped him to 16th.

Big: On lap 14, William Byron was shown to be losing a ton of positions and he also had an off the track moment. He had a tire going down and then made an unexpected pit stop. It was said to be a slow leak. Byron was running in 7th just a few laps earlier.

Big: On lap 16 while running in 11th, Ty Gibbs slammed into the wall which brought out a caution. This marked the end of his race.

Notable: During the Ty Gibbs caution, leader Joey Logano came to pit road. Allmendinger came in also. Much of the rest of the field didn’t pit. This dropped Logano back to 21st.

Notable: On lap 19 while running around the mid-teens, Chase Briscoe spun and then Joey Logano hit him. Both of them had notable damage. Stenhouse spun at this time too.

On lap 40 while running in 4th, Ross Chastain was noted for how aggressive he was racing. Chastain was later mentioned to be happy with his car.

Big: On lap 40, Noah Gragson, Austin Cindric and Michael McDowell were shown to be in the tire barriers. They were both running back in the 20’s at the time. They spun in a turn.

William Byron got the free pass following the lap 40 multi-car wreck.
