William Byron – William Byron was a contender to win last spring at Dover but finished an asterisk mark 33rd. In the race, Byron started 3rd, finished 2nd in Stage #1, led 36 laps but then in Stage #2 while running in 2nd, Byron had major problems during a green flag pit stop which dropped him off the lead lap. Byron did rebound from that somewhat and climbed back into the teens but then during a restart on lap 318, he was collected in a multi-car wreck that led to his 33rd.

Christopher Bell – Christopher Bell didn’t have an incident free afternoon last year at Dover and finished a misleading 34th. Bell had a race where nothing seemed to go right for the #20 team. In the race, Bell started in the back due to unapproved adjustments, had a slow pit stop during an early caution around lap 40 that dropped him to the back again (was up to the mid 20’s), finished about 20th in Stage #1, finished about 13th in Stage #2, was in 16th on lap 317 but then the next lap he crashed just after a restart.

Ricky Stenhouse Jr. – Ricky Stenhouse Jr. was a legit top ten contender last year at Dover but finished a misleading 35th. In the race, Stenhouse finished 10th in Stage #1, finished 9th in Stage #2, was in 11th on lap 300 but then on lap 320 while running in the top ten, he crashed while merging back into the track during a green flag pit cycle. In terms of Total Speed Rankings, Stenhouse ranked 10th.
