Group 1 Practice Notes

Chris Buescher – About 10-minutes into Group 1 practice, Chris Buescher had a flat tire. It was after 16-laps. He reported that his car was tight. In terms of 10-lap averages, Buescher ranked 6th in Group #1. Later in practice, teammate Brad Keselowski also had a flat tire.

Austin Cindric – Austin Cindric was fast and in Group 1, he had the best 10,15,20 and 25-lap averages. Cindric said his car had good speed early, middle and late in a run.

Ross Chastain – Ross Chastain had the best 30-lap average in Group 1. In terms of 10-lap averages he ranked 2nd. The #1 was solid on the stopwatch throughout a run.

Chase Briscoe – Chase Briscoe practiced running some different grooves. Briscoe said he struggled on a long run. He said he noticed the power difference and the track was slick. In terms of 10-lap averages, Briscoe ranked 3rd in Group 1. He also ranked 3rd for 25 and 30 lap averages.

Carson Hocevar – Carson Hocevar said that he needed to be pointed on throttle. Hocevar also had a little brake shake. In Group 1, Hocevar had the 3rd best 20-lap average.
