Fantasy NASCAR Asterisk Mark Report – Kansas #2 2025

Ryan Blaney – Ryan Blaney was a top ten performer last fall at Kansas but he finished an asterisk mark 24th. In the race, Blaney started in the rear of the field in a backup car, finished Stage #1 in 15th, finished Stage #2 in 9th, was in 9th on lap 250 but then a few laps later during a caution, Blaney was caught speeding on pit road which led to his poor result. In terms of Total Speed Rankings, Blaney ranked 10th.
Alex Bowman – Alex Bowman had a great chance to finish in the top ten last fall at Kansas but his race wasn’t incident free and he finished an asterisk mark 28th. In the race, Bowman finished 12th in Stage #1, was running in 12th on lap 150 but then shortly after that it was mentioned that he had power steering problems. Bowman than hung tough around the low double digits but then on lap 226 while running in 14th, he had hard contact with the wall, leading to his 28th. In terms of Total Speed Rankings, Bowman ranked 15th but take note his speed over the segments were 12th, 12th, 11th and then 34th.
Joey Logano – Joey Logano was a top ten contender last fall at Kansas but he finished an asterisk mark 21st. In the race, Logano started in the back, finished 6th in Stage #1 with some pit strategy, finished 7th in Stage #2, was running in 10th on lap 210 but then shortly after that on lap 216 he was involved in a restart wreck, leading to his poor result. In terms of Total Speed Rankings, Logano ranked 13th.
Ty Gibbs – Ty Gibbs was likely poised for a teens finish last fall at Kansas but he finished a misleading 25th. In the race, Gibbs started 8th, finished Stage #1 in 11th, finished Stage #2 in 14th, was running in 16th on lap 215 but then on lap 216, he was caught up in a restart wreck. Later, he wrecked in overtime too. In terms of Total Speed Rankings, Gibbs ranked 14th with his speed over the segments being 8th, 15th, 13th and then 29th.
