Fantasy NASCAR Asterisk Mark Report – Talladega #2 2025

This chart was created from @TheBetCrushers of BetCrushers.com

Kyle Larson – Last fall at Talladega on the last lap while running in 2nd and leading the inside lane, Kyle Larson ran out of gas and that led to his asterisk mark 26th. If that didn’t happen, there’s a great chance Larson would currently have 3-straight top 5’s at Talladega.

William Byron – William Byron was vying for his 6th straight top ten last fall at Talladega but on the last lap while running in 5th, he was spun by Hocevar which led to his asterisk mark 25th.

Joey Logano – Last fall at Talladega, I would argue that Joey Logano was the best, but he finished an asterisk mark 16th. In the race, Logano led the most laps (35), earned the best Driver Rating, had the best average running position but late in the race during the last green flag run, Logano was just boxed in running the bottom groove and he slowly faded back in the running order to his 16th.

Ryan Blaney – Last fall, Ryan Blaney ran well but finished 23rd. In the race, Blaney finished 4th in Stage #1, finished 8th in Stage #2, was the leader as late as 18 to go but then over the last short run to close out, he just kind of got boxed in on the bottom lane and dropped back to his poor result (23rd). Additionally, Blaney led 3 laps, was tied for the 5th best average running position (12.9) and earned the 6th best Driver Rating.
