Notable: On lap 20, Noah Gragson spun which brought out the first caution. He was in 20th at the time. He didn’t hit anything.

During the Gragson caution, everyone pitted but Denny Hamlin who inherited the lead, but the following lap he came to pit road. There was code word confusion in the #11 team. Mixed pit strategy took place among those who pitted with many drivers taking two tires.

On lap 66, Tyler Reddick was mentioned to have the fastest car on the track. He was able to pass other drivers and passing was difficult. From lap 40 to 73 he had driven from 11th to 2nd.

Notable: During the Stage #1 caution, Erik Jones (finished 10th in Stage #1) and Justin Haley were caught speeding on pit road. Christopher Bell got a safety violation penalty and also had to start in the back (was running in 13th).

Big: On lap 88 during the restart lap, Chase Briscoe got in the outside groove, spun, had contact with Riley Herbst and then got into the wall. He was running in 10th at the time. This brought out the caution. The #19 was wounded.

During the Briscoe caution, Bell was having air conditioning problems, and his team made two pit stops to fix it.

Big: On lap 126 while leading, Josh Berry spun and slammed into the wall. He was trying to pass a lapped car, got into a bump and then crashed. Josh Berry went to the garage for repairs.

Notable: On pit road during the Stage #2 caution, William Byron had contact on pit road and damaged his front splitter. His steering wheel was said to also be off a little bit. He came off pit road in the lead. Michael McDowell got a pit road penalty during the Stage #2 caution for pitting outside his box.
