Fantasy NASCAR Asterisk Mark Report – Nashville 2025

Brad Keselowski – Brad Keselowski finished 23rd last year at Nashville but that’s a misleading finish since he was involved in an accident. In the race, Keselowski started 6th, finished about 13th in Stage #1, was running in 15th on lap 123 but then not much later he was involved in a wreck with Corey Heim which did some damage to the nose of the #6. After that, he just wasn’t as good. In terms of Total Speed Rankings, Keselowski ranked 23rd with his speed over the segments being 15th, 17th, 25th and then 31st.

Christopher Bell – Christopher Bell finished 10th last year at Nashville but I view that as an asterisk mark result. In the race, Bell started 7th, finished 5th in Stage #1 but then on lap 118 while running in 5th, Bell was spun and got into the wall. It didn’t look good and the #20 was clearly damaged but somehow, he was able to continue to race competitively but there’s no way it didn’t impact him. In terms of Total Speed Rankings, Bell ranked 6th with his speed over the segments being 5th (incident free), 10th, 11th and 11th.

Corey Heim – Corey Heim showed teen’s potential last year at Nashville before his evening was cut short and he crashed, leading to his 37th. In the race, Heim started 33rd, finished Stage #1 in 21st but then in Stage #2 on lap 131 while running in the mid-teens, he was wrecked which led to his poor result.

Ty Gibbs – Ty Gibbs is a driver of high interest this week at Nashville and last year he finished 31st but it’s one of those really bad results that looks misleading but it’s really not. In the race, Gibbs started 22nd, finished Stage #1 in about 14th, finished Stage #2 in about 16th but then over the last Stage, he just didn’t seem to keep up with adjustments. In terms of Total Speed Rankings, Gibbs ranked 21st with his speed over the segments being 16th, 7th, 33rd and then 27th.
