Nashville Cracker Barrell 400 NASCAR Practice Notes

NOTE: This was a combined Group practice session due to weather.

Ross Chastain – Ross Chastain had pretty good pace in practice and had the best 15,20 and 25-lap averages. Chastain liked his balance and said it was the best balance he’s had in a long time. Chastain also said that his car was consistent. Chastain was confident with his car and said it feels good during an interview. The #1 was doing what he was looking for.

Ty Gibbs – Ty Gibbs was fast and was mentioned to have little fall off. In practice, Gibbs had the best 10-lap average (30.01) and the best 30-lap average (30.18).

Tyler Reddick – Tyler Reddick had some brake concerns. He said his peddle was squishy. In practice, the #45 was fast with Reddick ranking 3rd for 10-lap averages, 2nd for 20-lap averages and then 5th for 30-lap averages.

Denny Hamlin – The #11 was fast and looked strong. About mid-way thru practice, Hamlin told his team that he was tight in the center. In practice, Hamlin had the 7th best 10-lap average, the 5th best 15-lap average and his 30-lap average ranked as the 3rd best.

Christopher Bell – Christopher Bell had a great practice session. In practice, Bell had the 4th best 10-lap average and the 5th best 20-lap average. Bell went out on the track early.
