Fantasy NASCAR Asterisk Mark Report – North Wilkesboro 2025

Ryan Blaney – Ryan Blaney was a top five contender last year at North Wilkesboro, but he finished an asterisk mark 16th. In the race, Blaney started 7th, had a 6.4 average running position, was in 5th on lap 210 but shortly after that there was a caution and he elected not to pit which got him up to 2nd but that was a very short-term gain and big loss. The ensuing restart went horribly for him with a sideways moment, and he rapidly dropped back in the running order. In terms of Speed stats, Blaney ranked 5th for Total Speed Rankings and then 8th for Speed Late In A Run.
Kyle Larson – Kyle Larson looked strong last year at North Wilkesboro, and I would argue he was a top five contender but finished an asterisk mark 21st. In the race, Larson started 19th, was up to 13th at the lap 100 caution, was up to 3rd on lap 210 but then on lap 214 while running in 3rd, Larson nailed the wall and broke his toe link, leading to his 21st. In terms of Total Speed Rankings, Larson ranked 10th with his speed over the segments being 15th, 12th, 5th and 8th.
Brad Keselowski – Brad Keselowski finished 22nd last year at North Wilkesboro, and that’s an asterisk mark result. “Performance Wise”, I would say he was a top ten contender, but his race also went south as it progressed. In the race, Keselowski started on the pole, led 62 laps but once he lost the lead, he faded back. At the lap 100-caution, he was in 7th, on lap 170 he was in 9th but then on lap 175, he got loose and into the wall while running in 9th which marked the end of his race. In terms of Total Speed Rankings, he ranked 6th with his speed over the segments being 1st, 8th and 11th.
Daniel Suarez – Nobody had a shorter evening than Daniel Suarez in last year’s All-Star Race and he finished last (23rd). In the race, Suarez started 12th, slid back to 16th on lap 55 but then he had a flat tire and got into the wall hard which marked the end of his race. In terms of Total Speed Ranking over the first segment, Suarez ranked 21st.
