Christopher Bell – The #20 was strong. Dale Earnhart Jr. liked how Bell looked with his ability to move in traffic. Bell supposedly feel’s 100% healthy this week. In practice, Bell ranked #1 for 10,15,20,25 and 30-lap averages. Earnhardt Jr. thought the #20 was the best car in practice.

Denny Hamlin – Denny Hamlin looked great in practice and had good speed over a long run. In practice, Hamlin had the 4th best 10-lap average and ranked 5th for 25-lap averages.

Kyle Larson – Kyle Larson had really good speed over a run. In practice, he had the fastest lap 15,16 and 17. In practice, Larson ranked 2nd for 10,15,20 and 25-lap averages. Dale Earnhardt Jr. really liked how the #5 looked. Larson’s 30-lap average ranked 16th but I wouldn’t read into that since he didn’t drop off that bad and it came on a different run.

Joey Logano – The #22 was really strong in practice. In terms of 15 and 20-lap averages, Logano ranked 4th. His 30-lap average ranked 5th. Dale Earnhardt Jr. thought the #22 was really good.

William Byron – The #24 was fast on the stopwatch and had good speed over a long run. About 30-minutes into practice he said, “I feel pretty good here.” Dale Earnhardt Jr. really liked how the #24 looked. In practice, Byron had the 3rd best 10-lap average, the 5th best 20-lap average and the 6th best 30-lap average.
