Fantasy NASCAR Asterisk Mark Report – Richmond 2025

This chart was created by BetCrushers.com

Bubba Wallace – Bubba Wallace was subjectively the 2nd best last year at Richmond but he finished an asterisk mark 28th. In the race, Wallace finished 2nd in Stage #1, won Stage #2, led the most laps (123) but then in the last Stage while running in 2nd (prior to the pit cycle) on lap 291, Wallace lost a wheel on pit road and then pitted in Briscoe’s pit box, which came along with a penalty for pitting outside his pit box which doomed him to a 28th. In terms of speed stats, Wallace had the best Total Speed Ranking and ranked 6th for Speed Late In A Run.

Tyler Reddick – Tyler Reddick was top five good last year at Richmond, but he finished an asterisk mark 34th. In the race, Reddick started 2nd, won Stage #1, led 41 laps, was running in 2nd on lap 170 before a green flag pit cycle started but then during it on lap 181, he was spun and got into the wall and his competitive afternoon was over at that point. In terms of Total Speed Rankings over the first two segments, Reddick ranked 1st and 5th.

Christopher Bell – Last year at Richmond, Christopher Bell looked like a top five contender, but he finished an asterisk mark 21st after having multiple problems. In the race, Bell started 8th, finished 6th in Stage #1, finished 11th in Stage #2 but then during the Stage #2 caution, he had a slow pit stop that dropped him to 25th. Bell rebounded back up to 13th on lap 270 but then during a green flag pit cycle on lap 294, Bell got a commitment cone penalty which doomed him to his 21st. In terms of Total Speed Rankings, Bell ranked 6th.

Chase Elliott – Chase Elliott had a tough race last year at Richmond and finished 38th. Performance Wise, I would say he was teen’s good, but it’s also really hard to read into his evening. In the race, Elliott finished about 12th in Stage #1 (didn’t pit), got a pit penalty during the Stage #1 caution that dropped him to the back, was in 26th on lap 196 but then on lap 198 he was caught up in the “Big One” which marked the end of his race.
