New Hampshire Dollar Tree 301 NASCAR Practice Notes

Ryan Blaney – Ryan Blaney had a lot of speed over the course of a run. In practice, Blaney ranked #1 across the board for 15,20,25 and 30-lap averages. He was viewed to be the best in practice.
William Byron – William Byron unloaded fast and looked good. About 25-minutes into practice he reported that he was happy with the balance of his car, despite having a big moment in turn 3. In the second half of practice, Byron liked the changes made but needs a little more grip over the bumps in turn 3. In practice, Byron had the 2nd best 10-lap average, the 6th best 20-lap average and the 5th best 30-lap average. Byron was viewed to also be one of the best in practice.
Tyler Reddick – Tyler Reddick was mentioned in the telecast to not look great. No part of the turns was working good for him. Reddick said his car was miserable out there. In practice he ranked 26th for 10-lap averages, 24th for 20-lap averages and 20th for 30-lap averages.
Kyle Larson – Kyle Larson was fast in practice. Larson said he felt out of control. He said it felt terrible and wanted more comfortable speed. In terms of speeds in practice, Larson had the 2nd best 15-lap average and the 3rd best 25-lap average.
Christopher Bell – Christopher Bell said practice was good overall. He thinks the #20 will be in the game. In practice, Bell had the best 10-lap average but ranked 15th for 20-lap averages and 15th for 30-lap averages.
Shane van Gisbergen – SVG looked solid in practice and said his car is pretty good. He had some starter issues before his 2nd run. There’s slight RISK he might have to start in the rear of the field due to this issue, but it did start up during his qualifying run, so it might be fixed. In practice, SVG ranked 16th for 15-lap averages and 18th for 25-lap averages.
